James’ time spent living overseas has broadened his views of design as well as his outlook on life itself. Working abroad has also contributed to his greater understanding of how visual communication is perceived, whether it may be a global, national or communal audience. James received my honorary BAIA in visual communications from San Francisco State University, after building core skills in studio art at the College of Creative Arts in UCSB. As a Bay Area native, he is proud to be developing a redesign for The Spectrum’s layout. Being part of this professional team dedicated to community awareness is truly fulfilling.
